Your choices
First Swim Limited uses cookies and similar browser storage to operate this website. Optional visit measurement and Google Maps stay off until you allow them. Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to review or withdraw your choice. Rejecting optional cookies does not stop you browsing, booking or using your account.
What is used
| Purpose | Examples | Duration | Your choice |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basket and checkout | woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart, wp_woocommerce_session_*; basket storage in your browser | Basket cookies usually last for the session; the WooCommerce session normally lasts two days. Browser storage may remain until the browser clears it. | Essential when using these features |
| Account and security | wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wordpress_test_cookie and security cookies used by Wordfence | Depends on the security check and sign-in settings; login sessions normally last two days or up to fourteen days if Remember me is selected. | Essential when using these features |
| Remembering your cookie choice | fs_cookie_choices | 180 days, or until you clear it. Contains your choices, their date and the notice version, not your name. | Necessary to remember your choice |
| Visit measurement | WooCommerce Sourcebuster cookies: sbjs_current, sbjs_current_add, sbjs_first, sbjs_first_add, sbjs_session, sbjs_udata and related sbjs_* values | Session cookies; the visit session uses a 30-minute inactivity period. Attribution saved with a purchase may remain with that order. | Off unless you allow Visit measurement |
| Interactive maps | Google Maps embedded on our contact page | Google controls any cookies and storage it uses once a map is loaded; see its policy below. | Off unless you allow Google Maps |
Optional services
Visit measurement helps us understand how a visitor reached the site and relate the visit to a booking. Google Maps provides interactive directions. Loading a map connects your browser to Google and shares information such as your IP address and browser details. Read Google’s privacy policy and its cookie information.
This notice describes the services configured on this new website. Google Ads and Google Analytics tags have not been enabled here as part of this update. Any future advertising or analytics integration must be included in the consent controls and this notice before it is activated.
Changing your mind
Choose Accept all, Reject optional, or Choose settings in the banner. Optional choices are off by default. You can change them using Cookie settings at any time. Turning off Visit measurement removes the site’s Sourcebuster cookies and reloads the page to stop tracking. Turning off Google Maps stops maps loading on the refreshed page. We cannot remove cookies already stored by Google on its own domain; you can manage these through your browser or Google settings.
You may also delete or block cookies using your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies can prevent sign-in, basket or checkout features from working. If you clear our preference cookie, the banner will ask again.
Privacy and contact
For information about bookings, children’s details, recruitment and your rights, read our Privacy policy. Contact First Swim Limited at info@firstswimlondon.co.uk or 92 Queens Road, Twickenham, TW1 4ET.
Purchase and advertising measurement
With your visit-measurement consent we send Google Analytics a random transaction identifier, currency and purchase value. With advertising-measurement consent and a ChatGPT ad-click reference, we report eligible paid lesson and gift-card purchases to OpenAI. These purchase events contain no customer names, email addresses, child names or dates of birth. Google may process browser and network information when its script loads.
You can reject optional measurement or change your choice through Cookie settings. Withdrawal prevents future measurement and cancels our queued advertising events; it cannot recall an event already delivered. Consent choices last up to 180 days and the ChatGPT ad reference up to 30 days. Preprod only records local test results and does not send these events.
